Please note that measurements may vary slightly as the garment is handmade.
How to use the measurement chart
You can see a little visual demonstration on how our sizing works on our instagram.
1. Take your bust, waist and hip measurements. This will give you the measurements of your circumference.
To take your torso measurement, start at the highest point on your shoulder, go straight down over your bust, under your torso, up your back, and complete the circle by finishing at the highest point of your shoulder. Half this measurement to compare to chart measurements. * We recommend measuring your torso (yellow line in image) and allowing approximately 9cm extra between your torso length and garment torso length for appropriate sizing.
Make sure you write your measurements down & double check. It is common for customers to take the next size up to ensure the torso length is right for their body.
2. Half these measurements and compare to the size chart of the garment you are interested in. Find a size that is 1-3cm greater than your halved measurements, or more if you like a relaxed fit.
If you need a bit of guidance, or exact measurements of the garment you are interested in, please email info@tarawhalley.com with your measurements, the garment you are interested in and your questions.
