Want to take your artwork to the next level?

Enjoy a 1.5-hour class with Tara Whalley learning how to paint with gouache. Be inspired by objects from her personal collection, which inspired her iconic prints from her Gorman collaboration.

In this class, you will learn some basic colour mixing techniques and have lots of time to spend painting.

All materials are provided, just bring one object of sentimental value or a photo of something for a painting exercise. You will also have the option to paint objects from Tara's personal collection.

By the end of the class, you can take home your unique artwork, as well as some new painting skills!

If you have been to this class before, please bring your art plate and brush from the last class, or let Tara know if you can't find them.  Paint will be topped up.  You are welcome to skip the colour theory exercise and focus on developing your artwork during class time.

Please wear clothes you won’t mind getting paint on.

Parking The space is located a short walk (140m) from the 86 tram line. There is ample free 1h parking on Johnston st, with no limit after 12:30noon on Saturday and all day Sunday. There are many 2 hour free spots on Gore st opposite Aldi of surrounding side streets. Paid parking is available at Aldi.
